The Nissan R91CP was a development of the Lola designed Nissan R89 series.  The 91CP was developed in Japan by NISMO and Yoshi Suzuka and raced in the All Japan Sports Prototype Championship.  In 1992 NISMO entered the R91CP at the 24 Hours of Daytona in the Invitational Group C category.  The car qualified 3rd and ended up winning overall.
