An
interesting detail that never saw the light of day (but was observed
in the video of the R15 testing at the Ascari test track) concerned
what appeared to be dive planes ahead of the rear wheels.
We're told that the rear diveplanes were
good for, "a bit of rear downforce, not much." Though the ACO took issue and Audi was forced to reconsider using them.
