Hard edge fender shape.  Note the open inside face of the wheel well.  This detail helps reduce cross sectional frontal area, but more importantly, lift created by the inner fender shape.  One potential draw back is the proximity of the cooling intake and propensity of the wheel to throw debris.
The engine intake is squashed into the roof to reduce the frontal area.
