In
2004 Intersport Racing installed a Judd 3.4 liter V8 in their B2K/40.
This necessitated a slight increase in radiator inlet area and was manifested
in the raised inlets which differed from the standard Lola B2K/40 sidepods. |

2005, van der Steur Racing Inc. installed a 2.0 liter turbo I4 AER engine
into their B2K/40. |
The
turbo's airbox simply resides behind the radiator on the left hand side
of the engine compartment... |
...with
the induction being via a ovid hole residing in the "coke bottle" channel/duct
in front of the rear wheel. Note the louvers, they help extract hot
air away from the turbo (see also in above turbo airbox image). |

Road America the flush surface intake turned into a scoop. |
