Critical
analysis is difficult as it is obvious that the car's design was still
in its infancy and the overall shape is rather generic even for the time
period. Missing is any hint of twin tier rear wing that was in evidence
on the presentation model. |
The
underfloor is a relatively standard (for the time) large volume
diffuser
preceded by the then mandatory flat bottomed area. Of some
interest is the large bellmouth leading edge entry to the
diffuser; the bellmouth extends to the outer edges of the floor.
Also note the length
of the diffuser and how far it extends past the rear wheels; it
does
not terminate at the rear wheel's trailing edge. Instead, it
extends
much further rearwards than typical and actually terminates past the rear
wing's
trailing edge. |
