The
40% scale R&S MkIIIC wind tunnel model. Scale testing for the MkIIIC
program utilized the Auto Research Center wind tunnel in Indianapolis,
IN.
An
interesting iteration. The back side of the front fenders are
completely open with the side pods lowered at the leading edge to match
the
airflow exiting the front fenders (and front diffuser). Also note
the extended long tail (note the tape split line).
