The splitter and nose box/crash structure.
The cooling architecture is straight forward with most cooling air coming from top intakes that lie either side of the monocoque.  Note the diffuser exhaust also contributes to cooling pickup.
Though I did notice what must be an auxiliary cooling intake in the form of this blanked off NACA inlet.
The Pilbeam's twin roll over structures are air-licked welded steel structures (not steel tube structures covered with carbon aero-fairings).
The Mader JPX V6 has a 120 degree cylinder angle.  Mader has continued to develop the IES engine with a new cylinder head for this year.
