splitter and nose box/crash structure. |
The
cooling architecture is straight forward with most cooling air coming from
top intakes that lie either side of the monocoque. Note the diffuser
exhaust also contributes to cooling pickup. |
Though
I did notice what must be an auxiliary cooling intake in the form of this
blanked off NACA inlet. |
The
Pilbeam's twin roll over structures are air-licked welded steel structures
(not steel tube structures covered with carbon aero-fairings). |
The
Mader JPX V6 has a 120 degree cylinder angle. Mader has continued
to develop the IES engine with a new cylinder head for this year. |
