of the bodywork catching fire led to the first laps being made without
the cockpit doors or rear bodywork mounted. Note the exhaust ducting
for the radiartors (mounted just ahead of the rear wheel). The heated air leaves the car out the inner vertical face of the rear wheel arch, into an area of low pressure. |
