The
evolution of the sidepod and wheel well trailing edge air management was
quite dramatic though the themes were consistent. 
Both
the '01 Daytona Test variant and '01 Daytona Race variant had some method
of segregating the airflow that exhasuted from both the front wheel well
and the diffuser.
The
'02 revisions followed Lola's
lead and formed pontoon shapes behind the front wheel allowing for more
efficient air flow management.
