Mulsanne's Corner NEWS isn't meant to be THE source for up to date news items. Instead what we are doing is providing an archive for information collected through out the Net related to new car developments. Occasionally we do post first hand gathered items, but most of the time it is news from secondary sources such as dailysportscar.com or Autosport. We will provide all sources for any news item shown here.

>>From
Lee
Stohr, "After seeing the artists conception of the Norma M20 on your
News page, I thought I'd submit my Stohr sports racer. My Stohr DSR
is the 2002 SCCA National Champion 'D' Sports Racer. If I was a slick
salesman, I'd argue that it's the fastest 1000 cc sports racer in the world!
We are faster than all other SCCA classes except FAtlantic, and 2 home
built CSR's. I've built 7 Stohr DSR's so far. They weigh 350
kg without driver. We've all seen top speeds of 150 mph, probably
155 is possible. We've got a Quaife diff., paddle shifting, Ohlins
shocks, Stack dash, etc." |
