While
having been surpassed by the Lola B01/60,
the Lola B2K/40 first embodied many of the features the B01/60 inherited.
Namely the front fender shape, front nose diffuser, and the rear coke bottle
duct. In that sense, then, the B2K/40 is a landmark Lola design.
